- 300g Spaghetti
- 4 Hot dogs or Haitian salami, sliced
- 1 EL Vegetable oil
- 1/2 Onion, chopped
- 2 Garlic cloves, minced
- 1 Green bell pepper, chopped
- 400g Canned chopped tomatoes
- 120ml Water or broth
- 1 TL Dried thyme
- Salz und schwarzer Pfeffer Salt and black pepper, to taste
التحضير
- Cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the sliced hot dogs or salami and cook for 3-5 minutes until lightly browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the chopped onion, garlic, and green bell pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are softened.
- Add the chopped tomatoes, water or broth, and dried thyme. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- Add the cooked hot dogs (or salami) and spaghetti to the sauce. Stir well to combine everything.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Serve hot immediately.
