  1. Preheat oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, 100g powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Unroll the thawed puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut into 12 squares.
  4. Place a spoonful of the cream cheese filling in the center of each puff pastry square.
  5. Fold each square diagonally to form a triangle and press the edges with a fork to seal.
  6. Place the quesitos on the prepared baking sheet. Whisk the beaten egg with 1 tablespoon of water and brush the tops of the quesitos.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
  8. While the quesitos are baking, prepare a simple glaze by mixing 50g powdered sugar with 1 tablespoon of water. As soon as the quesitos come out of the oven, brush them with the glaze.
