Ingredients
- 4 Tassen 4 cups grated fresh cassava
- 1 Tasse 1 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 Tasse 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 Tasse 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 Teelöffel 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 Teelöffel 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 Teelöffel 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 Teelöffel 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 Tasse 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
- 1 Teelöffel 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour an 8x8 inch baking pan or line with parchment paper.
- Place the grated cassava in a clean kitchen towel and squeeze out as much excess liquid as possible. Transfer to a large bowl.
- Add coconut milk, brown sugar, melted butter, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla extract to the cassava. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed. Add raisins if desired.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 70-80 minutes, or until the pone is golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely before serving. Cut into squares.
