  1. Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and line a baking pan (approx. 20x20 cm) with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine grated sweet potatoes, coconut milk, sugar, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Add cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt, and mix well until evenly combined.
  4. If using, fold in the raisins.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 60-75 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely in the pan before serving.
