  1. Thoroughly wash the Nopal and carefully remove any spines and tough outer parts. Then, cut the Nopal into smaller, blendable pieces.
  2. Add the Nopal pieces, pineapple chunks, celery, orange juice, lime juice, chia seeds, agave nectar (if using), a pinch of sea salt, and cinnamon to a high-speed blender.
  3. Blend all ingredients on high speed until the smoothie is completely smooth and creamy. Ensure there are no large chunks remaining and the nopal is fully pulverized.
  4. Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness or tartness as desired. You can add more agave nectar or lime juice if needed to perfect the flavor.
  5. If desired, add ice cubes and blend briefly to achieve a colder consistency. This provides an extra refreshing touch.
  6. Pour the finished Nopal smoothie immediately into two glasses. Garnish with a few fresh mint leaves for an appealing presentation and an added touch of freshness.
