Ingredients
- 1 Stück Baguette or small ciabatta
- 50 g Serrano ham, thinly sliced
- 30 g Manchego cheese, thinly sliced
- 1 EL Extra virgin olive oil
- 2-3 Scheiben Fresh tomato slices
- 1 Prise Black pepper, freshly ground
- Einige Blätter Fresh parsley for garnish
- 1 Prise Sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the baguette or ciabatta lengthwise, but not all the way through, creating a pocket.
- Lightly drizzle the inside of the bread with extra virgin olive oil to add moisture and flavor. This ensures a pleasant texture.
- Arrange the thinly sliced Jamón Serrano evenly on one side of the bread, ensuring it covers the entire length.
- Place the thinly sliced Manchego cheese on top of the ham. The slight warmth from the ham can subtly soften the cheese and meld the flavors.
- If desired, add 2-3 slices of fresh tomato and season with a pinch of freshly ground black pepper. Add a pinch of sea salt if preferred.
- Gently close the bocadillo and press lightly so that the ingredients hold together well. Ensure nothing falls out.
- Serve immediately, optionally garnished with fresh parsley for a fresh touch and appealing presentation.
