Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cut the paneer into 2 cm cubes. In a bowl, mix the yogurt with the Tikka Masala paste, ginger-garlic paste, cumin powder, and coriander powder. Add the paneer cubes and mix well, then let marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  2. In a pan, heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the marinated paneer cubes and fry until golden brown on all sides, then set aside.
  3. In the same pan, heat the remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil. Add the chopped onion and fry until golden brown and soft, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the pureed tomatoes and bring to a simmer. Season with salt and a pinch of Garam Masala. Let the sauce simmer for 10-15 minutes over low heat until slightly thickened.
  5. Stir in the cream and let the sauce simmer gently for another 2-3 minutes. Ensure the sauce does not boil to prevent the cream from curdling.
  6. Add the fried paneer cubes to the sauce and gently mix. Heat briefly until the paneer is warmed through.
  7. Garnish the Paneer Tikka Masala with fresh chopped coriander and serve immediately with naan bread or rice.
