Zaatar Eggs
This easy and aromatic Za'atar Eggs recipe is perfect for a quick breakfast. Serve these eggs with warm flatbread for an authentic Middle Eastern experience.

Ingredients
- 4 große Eggs
- 2 EL Za'atar spice blend
- 2 EL Extra virgin olive oil
- 2 Stück Flatbread
- Eine Prise Salt
- Eine Prise Black pepper
- Optional Fresh parsley (chopped)
- Optional Lemon wedges
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a small, non-stick pan over medium heat.
- Crack the eggs one by one into a small bowl and carefully slide them into the hot pan to make sunny-side up eggs. Make sure the eggs do not touch each other.
- Cook the eggs for 2-3 minutes, or until the whites are set and the edges are crispy, but the yolk is still runny. Season the eggs with a pinch of salt and pepper.
- Generously sprinkle the za'atar spice blend over the fried eggs.
- Briefly warm the flatbread in a separate pan or in the microwave.
- Serve the Za'atar eggs immediately with the warm flatbread. Optionally, sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve with lemon wedges.
