Ingredients
- 4 Kugeln chocolate ice cream
- 200g cherries (pitted, fresh or jarred)
- 2 EL cherry liqueur (optional)
- 200ml whipped cream
- 1 Päckchen cream stabilizer
- 1 EL powdered sugar
- 4 EL chocolate sauce
- 2 EL chocolate shavings
- 2 Stück wafer rolls
Instructions
- Prepare the cherries: If using fresh cherries, wash and pit them. If using jarred cherries, drain them well. Optionally, add 2 tablespoons of cherry liqueur and let steep briefly.
- Prepare the whipped cream: In a chilled bowl, whip the cold heavy cream with cream stabilizer and powdered sugar until it forms stiff peaks.
- Assemble the sundaes: Place two scoops of chocolate ice cream into each of two tall dessert glasses.
- Add cherries: Distribute the prepared cherries evenly over the chocolate ice cream in the glasses.
- Pipe cream: Decoratively pipe or spoon the whipped cream over the cherries.
- Garnish and serve: Drizzle with chocolate sauce, sprinkle with chocolate shavings, and place a wafer roll on the rim of each glass. Serve immediately.
