Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken breast into 2-3 cm cubes. In a large bowl, combine yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, coriander, cayenne pepper, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade and mix well, ensuring all pieces are fully coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or ideally overnight.
  3. Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes before use to prevent burning. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat or heat a grill pan on the stovetop.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken pieces evenly onto the prepared skewers. Make sure not to pack the pieces too tightly, allowing them to cook evenly.
  5. Place the skewers on the hot grill or in the grill pan. Grill for about 8-12 minutes, turning regularly, until the chicken is cooked through and lightly browned. The internal temperature should reach 74°C.
  6. Remove the cooked Shish Tawook skewers from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley.
