  1. Cook pasta according to package directions, drain, and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan, sauté onion and garlic. Add ground beef and cook until crumbly.
  3. Add crushed tomatoes, cinnamon, cloves, salt, and pepper. Simmer until the sauce thickens.
  4. For the béchamel: Melt butter in a saucepan, add flour, and stir for 1 minute (roux).
  5. Gradually whisk in milk until a smooth sauce forms. Cook until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat, stir in beaten eggs and cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Grease a baking dish (approx. 20x20 cm).
  8. Layer half the pasta, then the meat sauce, then the remaining pasta.
  9. Pour the béchamel sauce evenly over the top.
  10. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 45-50 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
