Ingredientes
- 4 bolas Helado de vainilla
- 120 ml Espresso recién hecho
- 2 tbsp Virutas de chocolate
- 4 piezas Galletas Amarettini
- 1 pinch Cacao en polvo
- 30 ml Amaretto
- 2 cl Licor de café
- 2 piezas Vasos resistentes al calor
Instrucciones
- Prepare two heat-resistant glasses or cups, ensuring they are clean and dry. This prevents the ice cream from melting too quickly and ensures an appealing presentation.
- Carefully place two scoops of high-quality vanilla ice cream into each of the prepared glasses. Ensure the ice cream is well-chilled for optimal consistency.
- Prepare two cups of fresh, hot espresso. Ensure a good crema for the best aroma and appearance. Ideally, the espresso should be brewed just before serving.
- Immediately pour the hot espresso over the vanilla ice cream in the glasses. The combination of hot and cold is crucial for the traditional Affogato experience.
- If desired, you can now add 15ml of Amaretto or coffee liqueur per serving to give the Affogato an extra flavor dimension. This enhances the Italian character of the dessert.
- Generously sprinkle the Affogato with chocolate sprinkles and a pinch of cocoa powder. This creates an appealing look and a slight bitter note that pairs well with the coffee.
- Serve the Affogato immediately with the Amarettini biscuits for dipping. Enjoy it before the ice cream completely melts to best experience the interplay of cold and hot.
